NDOP API Overview

This section provides implementers of the National Data Opt-out Programme (NDOP) API messaging interface.

The NDOP API supports the following functionality:

• Create National Data Opt-out preferences for patients
• Retrieve existing National Data Opt-out preferences for a patient
• Update National Data Opt-out preferences for a patient
• Display transactional history for National Data Opt-out preferences for a patient.

The NDOP API is based on the HL7 FHIR STU3 3.0.1 Messaging Implementation (April 2017).
